ABOUT SABINE:
Sabine has been a Santa Fe resident for over 20 years, but she brings an international perspective to her business. She was born in Paris, France to a French father and an American mother from the Southwest. When she was 3 years old, the family moved to California, and Sabine grew up in West Los Angeles attending Le Lycee Francais of Los Angeles. At the age of 17, she moved to France with her father, attended college and then got a job in the property management industry. With a knack for languages, Sabine is fluent in French and Spanish.
When Sabine was in her early 20's, she left France and moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to be closer to her mother. A gymnast in her childhood, Sabine found a job as a gymnastics coach. Later, she worked in retail eventually managing a jewelry store in Santa Fe called Santa Fe Gold Works.
Sabine's daughter, Arryel, was born in 1996. When Arryel was just a year old, Sabine became a single mother. "Being a single mom has been challenging, but I would not change the past for the world. I now have the most precious gift, my daughter." Sabine says. She wanted to spend as much time as possible with her daughter, so she ran an in home childcare business until Arryel started school. With her daughter now in school, Sabine decided to find a new profession. She loved working with children but needed a career with the opportunity to meet new people, as well as having a greater earning potential and a flexible schedule. Real Estate was the perfect solution. She could work from the Coldwell Banker Trails West office, or from home when she needed to, and therefore be able to spend time with her daughter. Arryel, now 11 years old, is definitely a strong little girl who helps her mom out as much as she can. The two of them spend time together with their 4 cats, Me Me Fou Fou, Peanut Butter, Ducky and Grace Kelly. Arryel sometimes accompanies her mom on appointments and charms clients by helping with home tours and closings. "Arryel is the love of my life but Real Estate is my passion." states Sabine.
"Real Estate is a 24 hr job, and of course I now find myself working harder and more hours than ever before in my life!" Sabine laughs. "With hard work comes the biggest gratification. I never would have dreamed in a million years that I could get such fulfillment from finding homes, selling homes and closing deals. The look on Buyers' faces when they receive the keys to their new home is indescribable," Sabine says.
Sabine is friendly and down-to-earth, a real people person. " I have made friends for life in this business," she says. For Sabine, each transaction is just the beginning of a long-term relationship and she takes special pride in the bond she shares with her clientele. That bond begins with a foundation of honesty and trust that lasts well beyond the closing of the deal. Sabine feels that she is successful because she goes above and beyond what is expected of a Realtor and she always answers her phone, or if she can't, she returns calls promptly. "For me it is important to answer my phone because all individuals who call have the right to prompt assistance. I treat people the way I want to be treated." Sabine says strongly.
After living in Santa Fe for almost 20 years, Sabine has an in depth knowledge of the city's neighborhoods, its cultural and recreational offerings. As a parent, she is a great resource for families hoping to relocate.
